Tables are the perfect thing to make from recycled hardwoods
Using recycled Australian hardwoods allows us to design and make tables which appear light and simple, but are deceptively strong. Or we can feature the rich presence and depth of colour of the timber with a more weighty, solid design. Either way, our recycled hardwoods come straight from the demolition in the perfect sizes to make a table. Floor joists, ceiling joists and rafters in 38mm or 50mm thick are perfect for table tops, and old purlins and props are sized just right for legs.
Our tables are designed and made right here in our Canberra workshop by skilled craftspeople who deeply understand the material. They are built with care and will last a lifetime (or most likely several lifetimes). Being built to last also means being built to be enjoyed. Our customers don’t hide their tables away. They believe in the power of great design to bring pleasure to everyday moments, without costing the earth.
